Install ?: So I got the light/signal visors for my 06 RSTD...

from Santa and it appears that the headlight visor (which is listed as a RSTD part in the Yamaha catalog :( ) doesn't fit with the stock headlight cowl. Anyone have any experience with a replacement flat cowl w/ the visor or should I just put the driving light/signal visors on with the stock slanted cowl and send the headlight visor back?

Thanks for the link, unfortunately it seems that only applies to the RSV not the RSTD which has a different headlight cowl (it's not a flat ring like the RSV's). I put the signal/passing light visors on last night and I think I'm just sending the headlight visor back instead of trying to find a flat cowl. It looks pretty good with just those on along side the stock cowl which is already slightly visor-like anyway. Thanks for the help anyway.

You are welcome. I really didnt know the differance between the two bikes. I makes sense though now that I think of it....one has enclosed headlight and the other a open one....

Learning curve for me. Bet that looks sharp on your scoot.
