OH NO!
My old puter has no idea what a docx file is.
Does that mean that I have to buy a new version of my office 2000 to be able to open a docx?

Nope, there a free Viewers/Tools for newer Office Version out there. You can't work inside a .docx File, but you can view and print it with those. Even Microsoft provides these nowadays.

Just to clarify. I did NOT replace the .doc attachment with the .docx. I just added the additional one.
