Not sure if any of you Hannigan owners have seen or heard
that Hannigan now has custom trike covers for the converted
RSV. They run $118.00 with tax and shipping. I ordered one today
and they happened to have one in stock, normally there is a 3 week
wait on them as they are a custom item. for all there kits there only doing
them for the RSV at this time. Harley and Honda have to wait ~S~..
I will post a picture if anybody is interested later after I receive the
cover.

I've been looking for a cover. When I bought my kit I was supposed to have gotten a cover with it, but they were not making them at the time or they were back ordered, one of the two.
Thanks for the post.

Just an up-date--- the cover is EXCELLENT! :thumbsup2:
Fold down antenna's toward front of bike
fits tight do the my light bar being ext-out with the little
visors on them. but over all an excellent product.
tall clear-view seems to be OK.
I had to do this do to the fact that I bought my
wife a collector/show car for our anniversary
and I have no time this
year before winter to add onto my garage.
So what I did was purchase a garage in a box 12X20
seems very strong , I also brought in a load of gravel
now this coming spring I will lay more concrete down
and start building.
The portable garage is anchored down in 10 places
and water proof but wanted even more protection
so that is why the cover for now.
The portable is right next to my garage so I can
be able to work on both during the winter time
just be moving them back and forth.
Garage is heated!:D
Now to find a good quality car cover!:scratchchin:

The cover also have 4 tie downs (2 on each side) to wrap it tighter
of for the wind I guess if it was outside.

Yah! I told them I was looking for more like 5 - 10 gal range. As of Good Friday they were still in the works. There is a lot of rom above the frame and below the trunk rack. I'll settle for an additional 4 so I can go as far as a normal RSV...

Would the hannigan cover fit my Quike :think: [Voyager outrider]
bongobobny
04-27-2010, 07:40 AM
Probably! The Hannigan is longer than a stock RSV and wider than most trike conversions, so if you don't mind a bit of a sloppy fit i.e. too big, it should keep the Koala Bear droppings off the Quike...

I am also going to call Hannigan about this aux tank. I just got mine this year and I wish I had known they were working on one. Luckily I am not far from their Murray, KY location but if their dealers will be installing it that would be sweet too.
What would you imagine your distance per tank would end up being with the aux tank?
Did they tell you exactly where the tank would be?
This will be a gravity fed system and not an electronic one, correct?

Keith, let use know as soon as you find out.
I have not called yet. as I will not do this up-grade
until next winter. I also want to do it myself.
Thanks,
Jeff
if you want to save a few $ on a cover get then extra large cover for the biggest 4 wheel drive like a kawasaki mule with the cab. It will cover everything on the bike from top to bottom. I picked one up one bay for $29 including shipping.

I will let you know some time after the 19 th of this mo, I am getting the first one for production, and will be writing the installation most likely.... Jim has told me that it wont be available for retro fitting. My last kit had the tabs welded on the frame, but the tank wasn't ready for release. They just released it last Tuesday ( and I added it to the order :thumbsup2: ) That could be subject to change depending on the installer ( not all have a welder or can weld ya know)
Not Gravity feed ( it would have to be on top of the tour pac for that...)
Distance with the Aux Tank,,, what ever you get per-gal now plus 4 more of that number :confused24:
