View Full Version : Rear shock
I got my new rear shock in and have a question. On the replacement shock there is an extra hose, where do you hang it? The old one lasted 90,000 miles I hope the new one does as good, wow are they proud of them $$$. Ride safe Rod

I hung my hose between the plastic backing behind the seat, right over the shocks schrader valve..hope you can make out the pics.
Which shock did you get? And was it your original shock that lasted 90K miles? :biker:

Your shock came with a gray plastic clip that sticks onto the frame right next to the negative battery terminal. Looking down on it, the clip just looks like a big O open on the top and bottom. The hose runs up the right side of the battery and the down-turned end goes into that gray clip.

I had to hang my hose where I did because of the placement of the aux fuse panel right behind the battery. It was much easier to hang it out the rear of the seat area.
