How many Guardian Bells do you have on your bike?
None yet, but maybe someday I'll get around to getting it done. I've done some other accessorizing recently. Adding my GPS, XM, and cup holder.... :thumbsup2:
i have 3 , just in case 1 or 2 fall off

waiting for someone to care enough about me (HA!) to give me one. I understand that you render them ineffective if you buy one yourself and put it on. I don't want it on there just for the bling!

My bell is about worn out. I got it from the previous own of the bike.

I'm too superstitious to put one on because I've had good luck all these years without them...

Perhaps we should have a bell swap. We did that on the Kaw Forum and it was extremely successful. :icon_smile_question:2cents:

We could put your name on the list 3 times and then you're randomly paired with 3 others for the exchange. Any body interested let me know I think I can keep up with it.
Becky and I have 3 and they are all from very special friends. They have more power when received from a friend.

None here. But I have one that has been protecting my workbench for over a year. Someday I'll move it to the bike.

A guardian bell is one of the most important accessories you can ever put on your bike. It is like this. The bell shape collects the road gremlins that wish to do evil to you and your bike. The clapper in the bell drives them to utter distraction and fall out on the road surface where they lay there all dazed in unable to create mischief.
You can buy one for your self, and that is helpful, but the power is doubled if you get one - and - the power is significantly increased when it comes from a friend.
Now, the special ones that Freebird had custom made for us (See Venture Merchandise) is the absolute most powerful bells ever conceived. They are specially designed for us VentureRiders, says so right on the bell - that is very strong medicine.

I wish I would have seen this post sooner. I could have slipped one in the deflector box for ya.....
Sorry I missed the poll. I was given a Venture rider guardian bell by a member when I first bought my 88VR this spring. During Maintenance Day, I gave a bell to another member who had been riding without one. Anyone interested should read the note that comes with and explains the Guardian Bell. Among other things, it explains how potholes in the road are related to the devil.

I currently have three. One on either side of the front wheel (brake line guides) and one under the trunk. I probably will add a couple more if I find a design that I really like. What can I say, I like gadgets (smile).

I have one (of course I moved it to the RV while the RSV is down). Considering I came out of hitting an SUV pretty hard with just a dime sized bit of road rash on one arm (wearing T-shirt) and some bruises I think it is working pretty good.

we have 5 bikes and not one bell. I have looked at them and seen there are Pariot Guard bells, but never found an Army bell.

Hey Top,
If you did not get one yet, lemme know, I'd be happier then a pig in slop to send you one!! Matter of fact, send me your home address, I'll send you one and you give the one you got to someone else!! The story goes that you should be given a bell, NOT purchase one yourself!!! Gave Uncle Sugar 26 years of Fun, Travel and Adventure, my guys had a totally different meaning for F.T.A.!! Retired at Ft. Campbell, KY in 83, am a registered REPUBLICAN!!! Have been with the PGR for six years, sad to say that I have over five hundred+ missions under my belt, California is always hit really hard with KIA's!! Am also a ALR member, a lot of PGR members don't know that the American Legion is responsible that there is a American Legion Rider organization!! My good Friend and riding Brother Jeff "Twister" Brown was the one that started the PGR in 05. He has his own PGR Store at www.twistersstore.com (http://www.twistersstore.com), you name it he's got it!! Don't charge shipping and handling and no tax!! Got an 07 Blue RSV with 70,653 on the clock, concerning "Trojans" for the wheels, as some have said, Stones ain't worth squat, go with the Elite 3's best bang for the $$. My Brother-In-Arms, I look forward to receiving an email from you!!
WISHING YOU AND YOUR FAMILY A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a SAFE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Cheers,
