2 Years ago I messed up my oil filter cover when I changed my own oil and had to get a new one--now I bring my bike in for oil changes which I did yesterday--also asked them to check brakes. They called as I was shopping and asked if I have messed with the rear tire in the past year-I told them no not since they put on a new tire for me. He said thats what I was afraid of , we forgot to put a spacer in and owe you and new set of brake pads. They still have my bike. They called back and said it also messed up the rotors and they are looking for a replacement used one or an after market as a new one is $800.00. I asked how much this was going to cost me. The dealer stated, nothing it was our mistake and we will get it back right before you get it at our cost, it will just take a few more days. Glad I listened to my wife and took it in for the oil change. Sometimes paying a little more can save you over the long run. I have dealt with this dealer for many many years and they have always done me right. :happy34:
