been looking at tires most of the morn,this nexen tire has a 4 ply side wall and steel belts,made in china,i called them in la to get the spects,and that is what they told me,e-bay has them 2 for $129.00 free shipping
what do you thank

I run the Kumho. It's made in China too and I'm totally satisfied with it. But it's 2-ply tread and 1-ply side. Don't know that I would believe the Nexen is a 4-ply sidewall tho. Usually the only time you see a tire with more than a 2-ply side it's a heavy duty truck tire or a high-end off-road tire.
And the Nexen has a 320 tread wear rating which means it's probably a softer compound. The Kumho has a 400 rating.
Just more info to help in your picking a tire.

new nexen 165-80-15 on the way,will take pictures when it gets here

the nexen is here,BUT they lied to me,the tire 165-80-15 1 ply side 2 ply tread,sidewal is alot harder ,now to see if i can BLOW IT OUT load range is 1200#,don't look as wide as the fed,setting side by side,will get the pict to day,got a 3-5 hr ride to day

good looking nexen tire

putting lite blubs in the inst pan now,11 blubs,had to take front all the way off to get to the inst pan,so it's down till blubs come in

What do you attribute the "Blow-Out" to? Did you hit something?

trying to get the tire to bead up 90# air and looks like the wires broke,any way got this nexen to bead up using S T P as a lube then it took 70# air press

Looking good. Almost a twin of the Kumho. It was a toss up between the two when I ordered.
