Well, I see it in the text, but I don't see the option up in the poll selections.

The early Royal Stars are more closely related to the 2nd gen. They're nothing like the 1st.

Well these are all questions that I did not obviously consider before I wrote this thread.
To those who do not own a Yamaha Venture, RSV or RSTD, I apologize for not thinking through this more clearly.
If you owned one in the past I suppose you could vote for what you had.
I guess I am glad I do not work in the current election.

I have an '06 Midnight Venture. I use the same reverse as you. :hihi: In fact, used it today to get it out of the shed for its inaugural spring jaunt.

That is not a bad idea, but then I would have to have a poll for how many Black Cherry's, how many Liquid Silvers. and etc.

they were XVZ1200-1300s with a Royale package, but i ride 83-5

i have a 86 venture royale, 96, 97, 01 royal star and 03 venture triked. wife has 01 and 06 v-star 1100. love all of them, yamaha makes the best bike on the road!! i had a 01 two-tone green venture in 04 and 05 till i totaled it out. i'm also looking at a 83 venture if i can get it cheap enough, it's been setting for about 10 years but in great shape cosmeticly but is having trouble with 2nd gear.
