the big slobbery annimated smiley face ?

Hi,

I find the big slobbery annimated smiley face immediately below the message text entry window very distracting while I type (I'm at work after all and its a dead giveaway to onlookers). Is there a 'Smiles [Less]' feature I could use to make it go away?

You have at least a couple of options. Both are in the UserCP.

1. Click on favorite smilies and choose only the ones you wish to use.

2. Click on "Edit Options"...scroll down to Miscellaneous Options and choose "basic" for your text editor.

Ok thanks I used option 1 and just selected a few small inocuous non animated smileys. If I had none selected, I still got the objectionable one.

Option 2 worked too but didn't give me the link buttons to insert pictures and links and format text etc. I would miss those so I didn't use this method.
