That's good. The ride was better than my ride up Mt Mitchell two years ago. When we got to the ranger station the wind was blowing and the rain mist was almost sleet. I thought I was going to freeze to death. We didn't go any farther and started down. I was behind my brother in law who was on a gold wing. I couldn't see his tail light or the road. I had to look around the windshield and look for the white line. We we got back down the mountain the sun was shinning. I want to go back again when the weather is better.

Wow Arthur, the video was so good I felt like I was there......well, I guess I was since I was the lead bike. Actually, I did not realize you were videoing that ride.
If you remember, for the part of the ride in this video, the temperature went from 72 degrees at the top to about 82 degrees by the time we got back down to the BRP, where we made the turn.
Thanks, this was really good.

ADC,
What kind of camera did you use? I tried my JVC Everio digital hard drive on a ram mount and it kept crashing after a few seconds from vibration. I had the anti-shake feature on and off with the same result. Very good video BTW.

It's a JVC mini DV,I can understand a hard drive camera crashing they can't take that kind of vibration.

Gunny,
I have found that folks with the digital recorders that run off a mini CD have that problem. I have a Sony that uses the small tapes and it works perfectly for mounting to the bike :thumbsup2:

Thanks Arthur, for refreshing our memories. That was best rally ever. Just about everything is come together to make it best. Watching gray sky trough window and snow on forecast overhere in Chicago, make my day already. Thanks again to everybody.
Love ya all.
