Does search work?

I just tried to search a specific subject (Rebuilding the clutch master cylinder) and got 500 results that all appeared to be unrelated. Making me wonder if search feature is working.

I got the same results. Try using the google search and put a dot in www.venturerider.org
Also use " Rebuilding the clutch " with the quotes. It will look for the phrase.

It is really just not a very good search engine. I will do some experimenting with it and see if I can make it work better.

In the meantime though, Buddy's suggestions works GREAT. That is why I added the "Google" search function a while back. Give it a try and I think you'll like it.

FWIW, it used to work for me, probably before the server changes. Don, you probably already know this. Thanks to you for the continued work on this forum!

Because I don't see well, my screen resolution is set to 800x600. Unfortunatly that displays only the upper search box when I want to find something. There is a lower one, and when used in conjucntion with the "google" search and with the "venturerider" box checked, works great.
