1st Gen Radio Buttons

Anyone succesfully repaired 1st Gen radio buttons and how did you go about doing it? I'm not missing any button covers but not all my buttons work.

A few of the buttons on my radio didn't work when I got the scoot. I took it apart and soaked them really well in contact cleaner. Made sure it was good and dry before I put it back together and they work fine now.

I don't know why you want to push my buttons, but what the Wizard said is fine with me. He hasn't led me astray yet, so I guess he is dependable.

I had buttons fail on mine. I took apart an old VCR and it used the exact same contact. Unsoldered it off of the VCR board and on to the raidio. They all work perfect now. I have lots of spares if you need.
