I heard this elsewhere. I also see on their website that all warranties will end on Dec. 31, 2008.

Yeah I heard the same thing that's why I went with Warm and Safe for my heated clothing. They have a lifetime warranty on the heating elements. I think they are a subsidiary of Gerbing.

Don't know Widder, but just visited their website. Looks like the same type of store as National Discount Cycle we had locally that went out of biz. The second independent to file for bankruptcy in our area in the last year. A sign of the times.....:confused24:
