on my '06, same as Tone asks about, and it works great. No clutter on the handlebar (well, they are cluttered with other stuff, now). I have a GPS on the lower ball, and a radar detector on the upper; but, I suppose you can put just about anything on a RAM mount.

Mounted in seconds, and has been zero problems.

Appears to me the fittings on the '06 and the '07 are identical.
