what method do you use to remove and remount your own tires.
I've seen 1 article on Harbor Freight tire changer.
Is this any good?
What do you use to balance them or take them to a shop?
Thanks

Tried to do it the hard way with 3 tiretools. Tire almost won.
Bought the harbor freight changer and it works great.
Static balance by letting it spin on its axle between 2 sawhorses. if it stops
with the same side down several times that's the heavy side so you put a weight on the top and try again till it stops in a different place each time

Different place? Like oh say Lodi, Modesto and Sacramento?

I don't change all my own tires but when I do I use the method used above. You just need to use something to protect the aluminum wheels so as not to scratch them up.
