My apologies, I originally posted this in the wrong forum. I'm still getting used to the site. Sorry about that.
The other day, whlie on the bike, my wife was driving behind me in her car. She said she was concerned about the lack of visibility from the rear and sides of the RSV and that we need to add some lights. I would appreciate hearing from some of you the kind of lighting you've added and if you could provide the site to obtain the lights. Thanks in advance.

No problem about posting in the wrong place. We all do it from time to time. As for the lights, there are several rear light bars that folks here have used and I'm sure that some of the members will jump in with their recommendations. Another thing that some of us have added is an assembly for the Harley Road King. Here is a thread on it. Looks like it was MADE for the Venture.

I added a SOMA light from Rivco....looks like it was factory install and is a brake/running light. Its a bit pricey, but its very bright and easy to install. The ignition is not on in the pic....illuminated from flash.

Thanks, Don. I will pursue getting the lights you recommended as well as some more. I definitely want to be seen out there!

Here's what I have done. I have the light bar under the trunk, the HARLEY lights and diamondr's rail lights. I had Allen make mine all red. Crash

1st and 2nd Gens need lights on the back. I got mine on there and frame broke. Used Trunk from "Black Beauty with Light Bar. Busted one of my "Black Beauty" bags at same time.

I just installed a Harley touring license plate bracket on Jerry W.'s bike and it makes a BIG difference.

These lights are great, really light up the back of the bike. I will get some pictures posted. Thanks Forrest, you did a great job. Looks like I owe burgers and beer.
