That was a very good DQ, not the high price type DQ found in Muffinman's neck of the woods. :whistling:

Hey RiderDuke , we (Muffins and I) had a short discussion in chat about the ride and suggested plans on having a party at my house afterwards . Perhaps throw some steak on the pit , chase it down with Beer or other intoxicating beverage (we are not a dry county), and perhaps get crazy and jump into the pool . We can put some people up for the night , either bring a bed role , or let me know and I will go rent some cots . Or you can sleep on your scoot as the garage has A/C too . Or just pass out wherever you fall !

Gene, you stated that it is passing by your house on 172, I take it they are going to be able to travel through Camp Lejeune? From the best of my knowledge the gates are still closed to public traffic. I wonder if they are aware of that fact?

I am going to say this event for me is a definite MAYBE!! My wifes sister is getting married on Cape Cod that day. She still hasn't decided if we are attending yet or not. If I am in town I will be there.

Well as luck would have it I'm at work and they don't allow access to geocities, so I will have to wait until after work to check out the link. I did get to the NC PGR site and saw a small blurb on it. Mainly giving the date, times and route.

Just talked to a LEO friend of mine whom just so happens to be one of the escorts , leading the pack for this ride . He stated that so far it looks to be a good turn out , as a possible 1,000 bike will be participating . Though it will considered a short ride starting at the Beruit Memorial , food and entertainment will be at the end , arriving at New River Harley .

Also I need to know how many will be staying at our house for the night , so I can arrange sleeping .

It would be great to have you both to ride along with . Plus be able to return Brandi's jacket , if I do not get it back to you sooner . I have here at the shop if you want to drop by or Becky and I can drop it off if we knew your address .

The weekend before, if you want, there is a M&E in Virginia. So lowel if you leave ES rally it's only a few hrs ride:rotfl::rotfl:

Yeah I saw your Meet and Eat. I have to wait and see how much of my money Brandy spends at the Emerald Isle Rally. :whistling:

I will give it a try that's for sure. I'm always up for eating. As you can tell I haven't missed too many meals. :rotf:
