Well Alan Get Rid of those 1st, And 2nd ~ 1st Gen an d Buy yourself 2nd Gen you can ride all year around. May have some warranty left too so you dont have to worry about repair stuff.

Repairs are not a problem. The 86 and the 83 are ready to go anywhere but it is life that has a hold of me. Seems that there is never enough time. Someday maybe but now?. Personally I have nothing against the 2nd gen . To me it is a beautiful bike. It still looks like a motorcycle. Not a plastic bike but a motorcycle. Two wheels and a engine that you can see.

I know the feeling, Allen, and our riding season is soooo short! You just gota make the time. Any time you want to go riding just give a call, and maybe if I'm not too busy as well we can ride...

can concur with the feeling. It's summer here and I am so sick of not being able to ride. Have to watch my husband ride most days (on my bike !!) makes for a very snarly missus sometimes, especially on weekends when he's off on the club run
