Stupid question...but where can a guy find fuses for a 1st Gen VR? My headlight fuse 15A 1" fuse blew...I went to the local Yamaha dealer, Napa, & Checker and while the auto parts places had plenty of fuses, they were either too long or too short...nobody had the 1" fuses. Didn't think buying a fuse would be that big of a deal!?

I could have a look up here for ya if you wish.
Lets make that....I will have a look up here.....this seems to be a problem for our folks south...maybe our stores still have em.
You could change the whole fuse box to the new style stab fuses. There is some tech stuff on that I believe.

The fuses are available here in Canada at Canadian Tire and also most electronic outlet stores. I had a problem with my fuse box. All the fuse holders had fatiqued over time and wouldn't hold the fuse any more. The only thing holding the fuses in was gravity. Anyhow I bought new fuse blocks from Canadian Tire and the metal parts that hold the fuse actually fit the original box perfectly.
